Scholarships are available through Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs). Scholarships must be renewed annually and require annual income support documents. SGO families pay a discounted yearly tuition amount per student. Extra-curricular activity fees are the responsibility of the student, if applicable.
JPII participates in three SGOs: C2 Opportunity, Rocket City Scholarships, and Scholarships for Kids.
Students currently receiving aid from an SGO can renew their scholarship at JPII upon acceptance and during the SGO application season.

Financial Aid is provided through internal JPII funds and must be applied for annually. Like SGO scholarships, internal Financial Aid is limited and need-based.

The CHOOSE Act provides qualifying students with an opportunity to receive up to $7,000 a year for tuition, certain fees, and other eligible expenses at JPII. Signed into law by Governor Kay Ivey on March 7, 2024, the CHOOSE Act makes refundable income tax credits available in an educational savings account (ESA). Students cannot receive ESA funds and also have a scholarship from an SGO.

For additional information, please see the information on the JPII Scholarships & Financial Aid or The CHOOSE Act pages.
